Everything beautiful ends in this life and the course of Spyros Martikas in Survivor could not be the exception to the rule. The 45-year-old pharmacist, after coming out unscathed from 11 candidacies, breaking every record in the Greek version of the game, was the one who heard his name from George Lianos, as he collected fewer votes than Asimina, Stavroula and May.
The latter could well develop into … a form of the whole process, as a few moments before the announcement of the name of the player who is leaving, the camera caught her saying to Aris Soiledis: “I will leave”. Obviously, this prediction did not turn out to be true, but it is certain that she is most happy about this mistake.
The council, however, included other news that will affect the game from now on. First and foremost, the announcement of George Lianos to the players about the changes that are going to happen from now on. Heading to the last week in Saint Dominic, before returning to Athens for the semifinals and finals, the participants were informed that in the coming days two more will leave, in order to complete the puzzle of the … elite of the final four.
Of course, when the discussion led to … strategy, the atmosphere sharpened. Asked by Giorgos Lianos, Aris Soiledis left open the possibility of reshuffle in the two … camps next week, saying that “it is something we have seen happen several times this year, so I can not rule it out.”
Nikos Giannis’s words were ultimately the ones that sparked the tension, when he referred to the Martika-Asimina talks. The young athlete took it personally, expressing her frustration and despair for her constant targeting. Of course, Nikos did not … feel sorry for her, as he responded to her voices with his own voices, before George Lianos intervened.
Given that both will be on the beach next week, it will be very interesting if this opposition will lead to changes in terms of “teams” that have been created.
