They go to Paleochora and learn about the “black” history of the old capital of the island. Then, with special equipment, they descend the impressive gorge of Paleochora to reach one of the top beaches of the island. They enter the other Hagia Sophia cave located in Kalamos and hear from a local resident the story of the village Kalokairines which became a novel.
