For the first time visiting Maranhão, former BBB and professor João Luiz Pedrosa, 25, is in the capital São Luís to celebrate São João da Thay. He will participate in the online broadcast of the event alongside Camilla de Lucas and Thelma Assis. “We went in to add even more,” he says.
João tells, in conversation with the F5, says that visiting the state was an old desire. “In 2020, I took a trip to Pará and wanted to go to São Luís to get to know Lençóis Maranhenses, but I didn’t have money”, he recalls. “Now, it’s my first time in Maranhão and still in an event that goes beyond the party.”
The live coverage of the event will be presented by Lucas Vieira. The broadcast will take place on the YouTube channels of Laura Brito, Lore Improta and Thaynara OG, in addition to the websites iMirante and G1 Maranhão.
The former BBB says that, although he is no longer teaching in classrooms, he feels that the benefit event in favor of Unicef (United Nations Children’s Fund) brings important themes that were already being debated in classrooms. “Since when I was teaching at school, I have brought up all these issues that we discussed in schools. It is also important to bring people here, we have a lot to think that everything will happen in the South-Southeast axis.”
For the future, João Luiz says he is recording the 5th season of the Trace Trends program (Multishow), which should premiere in July. Furthermore, he reveals – without giving further details – that he is preparing to write his second book. In the year 2022, he released his first work “Como essa Calopsita Veio Parar no Brasil? E Outros Dúvidas de Geografia”.
“I’m in the process of designing all these things, of course, working with social media and advertising,” he adds about his life after the reality show. João Luiz participated in the 21st edition of Big Brother Brasil (Globo), which consecrated singer Juliette Freire, 31, as champion.
