Rodrigo Faro’s brother suffers a car accident and recovers well

Danilo Faro, Rodrigo Faro’s brother, said on his Instagram profile that he had a car accident this Saturday (27th) in the morning in São Paulo. At the beginning of the post, he puts the date of the accident, which he titles as “The day I was born again”.

The businessman used the post to raise awareness of his followers and report what happened. He claims that he was returning from a late-night party and that he had not consumed alcohol.

Faro says he was alone in his car, at the intersection of Rua Augusta and Alameda Jaú, in São Paulo, when a car at high speed hit him on the side.

“I didn’t see anything, I don’t know how the car stopped, I just had the feeling that that car was running endlessly and that I had really died”, he writes. According to the businessman, a woman named Gisele helped him to stay calm and others told him that the driver who hit him had run a red light.

In the same publication, he appeals to friends and followers not to consume alcoholic beverages while driving. “Don’t put your life and the lives of others in danger. I really might not be here for the violence of the crash.”

He said he is recovering well, but that he had two fractured ribs and twelve stitches on his forehead. “If you ask me how I am, I will answer: I am happy! I am alive! I was born again and I am sure that God and Our Lady have given me another chance.”
