Prince Andrew gave Ghislaine Maxwell access to Buckingham Palace

Prince Andrew, 62, the son of Queen Elizabeth II, and the British socialite, 60, had an “intimate relationship” that gave the socialite “unrestricted access” to Buckingham Palace, Paul Page, a former royal police officer, told the British newspaper. The Sun. He said he had to keep the socialite’s name out of the guest book.

The relationship between Maxwell and the Duke of York has come under intense scrutiny, as she was jailed this week for 20 years for helping financier Jeffrey Epstein sexually abuse minors.

Page, who served the royal family for six years as an armed protection officer, spoke of how he often saw Ghislaine walking in and out of Andrew’s apartments.

He said she had “unrestricted access” to Buckingham Palace – with officers being instructed to simply wave at her whenever she arrived to see the Duke.

Page, who worked at the Palace from 1998 to 2004, said he and his colleagues were convinced Andrew and Ghislaine were in some sort of relationship. “She was allowed in and out of the Palace night and day at will,” he told The Sun Online.

It is known that Andrew and the British socialite were old friends – they knew each other even before she got involved with the perverted Epstein. She was supposedly the person who introduced the prince to Epstein–they became great friends.

Maxwell and Epstein reportedly trafficked Virginia Giuffre, 17, to the socialite’s London home, where she was forced to have sex with Andrew after a night of dancing at the Tramp nightclub.

Page recalled that Ghislaine was one of Andrew’s most frequent visitors in the early 2000s — a time when they became close and when she may have introduced him to Epstein.

For the policeman, the prince and the socialite had a relationship and this was confirmed when he saw the two having an “intimate picnic” on the grounds of Buckingham Palace. “It was outside the queen’s bedroom window. “So from that point on, I thought they had some sort of intimate relationship.”

Page said he and his colleagues were instructed to keep her name out of the guest book – which was “highly unusual”. He continued, “We assumed they didn’t want any evidence of her visiting the palace, perhaps because she was Robert Maxwell’s daughter—it wouldn’t have been a good look.”

Andrew denies any wrongdoing in his relationship with Epstein and Maxwell – and strongly insists he didn’t have sex with Virginia. The prince’s defense announced in February this year an out-of-court settlement with the defense of Virginia Giuffre, but did not disclose the amount stipulated to end the process.
