Presenter Xuxa Meneghel, 59, spoke about veganism, the political moment that Brazil is facing and revealed a desire to live outside the country during a live on Fábio Chaves’ YouTube podcast on Tuesday (12). The presenter’s husband, singer and actor Junno Andrade, 58, and doctor Eric Slywitch, also participated in the program.
“I would like to have a residence not only here in my country, because I am afraid of everything that is happening. I would like to live abroad and come to work”, said the queen of the shorts.
She said that she still doesn’t want to retire, but prefers to preserve herself out of fear of everything that is happening in the country. “In this political moment, we need to rethink all our actions so that we don’t pay such a high price as what we are paying.”
Xuxa also criticized President Jair Bolsonaro (PL), without mentioning his name. She said that having a ruler who, instead of making peace and love, makes the symbol of hate and the weapon is not right. “This mistake will reverberate for a long time.”
The presenter said that Bolsonaro does not represent her, but will not say what she will vote for in this year’s elections. “I just know who I won’t vote for. I wouldn’t vote for someone who is prejudiced, against nature, against life, against science.”
