Neighbor and friend, presenter Adriane Galisteu was one of the first to mourn the death of comedian Jô Soares, at age 84, in the early hours of this Friday (5).

“My God, the world without you. My beloved friend, director, adviser, neighbor, what a sadness”, he wrote.

Adriane promised to continue applauding the artist and thanked him for the laughs, conversations and teachings. “I love you forever,” she added.

Presenter Ana Maria Braga said that the day dawned without grace. “I had the honor of meeting and living with this journalist and comedian so talented and dear to all of us,” she said.

For singer Zélia Duncan, Brazil lost a comedian who loved what he did above all else. “A brilliant interviewer. A citizen who loved his country and his friends,” she said.

“A very intelligent, funny, human man”, described the actress Bárbara Paz. “Your teachings and your laughter remain”.

Singer Ana Carolina said that she had followed the artist since she was a little girl and was later interviewed by him on the busy sofa of the talk show. She said that Jo was a special human being, intelligent and affectionate.

“Sad for the loss of Jô Soares, one of the greatest of all time”, lamented comedian Antonio Tabet. “Smart, talented, cultured and shrewd. Unique.” To Tabet, Job was a genius and a generous man.

According to musician Derico, who worked with Jô for 28 years, the presenter and comedian was like a father. “He taught me everything.” He stated that the artist was always generous to everyone he worked with.

Live at Bom Dia São Paulo (Globo), this Friday morning, Derico cried and laughed at the same time as he told some stories he lived alongside Jô.
