‘Return of the Dream Canteen’, their new album, will be released on October 14 by Warner
The Red Hot Chili Peppers shared a new song titled “Tippa My Tongue”, the first track from their upcoming album ‘Return of the Dream Canteen’, out October 14th via Warner. It is accompanied by a psychedelic video directed by Malia James, animated by Julien Calemard and Thami Nabil.
‘Return of the Dream Canteen’ will be the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ second album of the year, following April’s ‘Unlimited Love’.
“‘Return of the Dream Canteen’ is everything we are and everything we ever dreamed of becoming. Is full. Made with the blood of our hearts, yours, the Red Hot Chili Peppers,” the band said.
In this new track, the Californians remember the… old days, since in its lyrics they talk about “Funky Monks”, which is exactly the name of one of the tracks on their album “Blood Sugar Sex Magik”.
