Juliette is named Woman of the Year by Magazine: ‘Birthday Gift’

Winner of Big Brother Brasil (Globo), launched as a singer and followed by 32.8 million users on Instagram, Juliette Freire is the owner of the 2021 Woman of the Year award, given by GQ Brasil magazine. The woman from Paraíba shared the achievement on social networks this Friday (3), which is also her birthday.

The influencer turned 32 and joked with the coincidence: “My people, what a birthday present!”, she wrote. “This trophy is not just mine, it belongs to all the women who, every day, face and win their wars! Thank you so much!”

Juliette dedicated her day to publishing different content for her followers. She launched a photo shoot with birthday cakes and a “fashion film” (video focused on showcasing models, clothes and accessories), receiving in return several compliments and congratulations from artists and colleagues on the reality show.

A tradition at GQ, the “Men of The Year” award in Brazil in 2021 chose the São Paulo rapper Emicida as Man of the Year in music. The artist has a documentary on Netflix, “AmarElo – É Tudo Para Yesterday”, created from interviews, studio videos, and scenes from a concert at the Theatro Municipal de São Paulo, in 2019.

Juliette’s BBB21 partner, Gil Nogueira, was chosen as Digital Influencer of the Year. The economist did not win the reality award, but he won fans across Brazil, launched his own book, and gained 14.6 million followers on Instagram alone.

Gil “do Vigor”, as he became known, also celebrated the award on the social network, thanking the “incredible honor”. “This tribute made me think a lot about my trajectory and who was with me all this time”, he shared.

In Sports, the highlight was surfer Ítalo Ferreira, medalist at the Tokyo Games. The presenter Tiago Leifert, who headed the BBB 21 and temporarily assumed Domingão (Globo), was elected Man of the Year on Television.
