Sammy Lee opens movie with hot scenes and says Pyong might be jealous

Although she’s considered herself an artist forever, Sammy Lee, 23, will make her acting debut in a movie with some racy scenes. In “Secrets”, which should be released between July and August 2022 on some streaming platform still under negotiation, the actress will star opposite Emiliano Ruschel, director and protagonist of the film.

According to her, the film explores sensuality in a less obvious and explicit way, which for her becomes more interesting. “A woman doesn’t need to fit into certain types of standards to be beautiful, sexy or desired. The moment you realize this, you can enter the character body and soul. The team made me very comfortable,” she says in an interview with F5.

Wife of magician and hypnologist Pyong Lee, 29, with whom she has little Jake, 1 year and 10 months old, Sammy reveals that perhaps her husband, with whom she recently remarried after a marital crisis, can feel jealous when watching the scenes of his character Angel.

“Maybe (laughs). But he’s very supportive. In any relationship where at least one of the parties is an actor, you need to have a conversation, let the other person feel respected and listened to. When everything is agreed, I don’t see a problem.” explains.

The film’s plot revolves around the story of Noah (Emiliano) and Naomi (Danni Suzuki). The boy is Swiss and meets the Brazilian in the United States with whom he falls in love. After marriage, life seems to be perfect. However, when both go to a house in Passo Fundo (RS), it is evident that in the relationship there are signs of violence, abuse and betrayal by the man.

Actor Emiliano Ruschel tells more details about the narrative and about the themes that will be covered. “Flashbacks keep appearing and we realize that there are some secrets between them too. One issue we talk about is the abortion, with the character of Danni, and my spicy sequence with Sammy, which is a relationship outside of marriage,” he says.

In the actor and director’s view, the film has as one of its proposals to lead to a reflection on relationships, on how we should make concessions in love and give ourselves.

The film is all in English. Despite not being fluent, Sammy studies the language and was discovered and called to participate in the script after Emiliano himself saw a video of her singing in another language.

“She has energy, personality, she’s really a star. Her profile fit that of the character. Skin tone, hair tone in addition to shooting very young. Warrior, fighter, winner. We even had Jake’s presence on the set. it has already become our mascot”, points out the actor and director.

In Sammy’s opinion, another factor that made her prepared to face the role was her passion for expressing herself and the desire of the mother who always saw potential in her. “She put me in several public theater workshops to develop this expressive side of mine. Since I was a child, I’ve always seen movies, books, soap operas and big shows as a kind of parallel world. Being able to do this is something I really like”, he reflects .

But the new one-off opportunity should not be seen as something unique. Sammy says that he intends to continue taking some courses and workshops and even that he has already received invitations for other more lasting works after “Secrets”. She claims to have as mirrors names like Bruna Marquezine, Marina Ruy Barbosa, Agatha Moreira and Juliana Paiva.

The smooth running of productions on streaming is also a motivational factor. “I see an appreciation of our work with this platform. And there’s the theater too. I won’t be stuck with a desire, as that can end up limiting me. When a new character arrives, I won’t let her run away”, adds the actress.

MATERNITY AND HATERS

The arrival of their first child, Jake, completely changed Sammy Lee’s life, but she didn’t realize it until after a while. When he arrived in the world, Pyong was still participating in Big Brother Brasil 20 (Globo), and the absence of his father for a few weeks made her become even more attached to the baby.

“I can’t imagine my life without Jake anymore. He brought a visceral joy to my life. Gravity changes when we become mothers. It’s our son who pulls us to the ground. The responsibilities increased, the lack of sleep too ( laughs)”, he evaluates.

Sammy says it’s all been worth it and that “his smile seems like the remedy for all the world’s problems.”

But it wasn’t just the BBB that somehow got in the way of the Lee family’s plans for the birth of the heir and the routine in general. After Pyong entered the reality series Ilha Record (Record), everything seemed to fall apart.

The actress had announced the end of the marriage in July after the release of a teaser of the program implying that her husband had cheated on her during the recordings.

However, when the reality show aired, it was shown that he had resisted the attacks of Argentine Antonela Avellaneda, 38, during confinement, despite having slept with her under the duvet. Even so, Pyong and Sammy remained apart for some time.

In October, the influencer decided to give him one more chance, who apologized for the mistakes and promised to change. At the time, Sammy said, “I’d rather fail being with my family than prosper without them.”

And all this whirlwind of emotions brought praise, but also criticism from people of the internet for Sammy’s posture.

“Social media has become a work tool, so there’s no getting away from it. But 15 seconds might not be enough to explain a full story, and I know the internet is expert at judging you for just 15 seconds of your life.” Sammy splice.

Since everything happened, she decided to start filtering both the content she posts and the comments that might come to her. “It is necessary to focus on the positive, as there are good people on the internet. I always try to give my attention to them and leave negativity and judgment aside”, he concludes.
