Actor Bruno Gagliasso, 40, shared a video on Instagram of the meeting with presidential candidate Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), 76, this Friday (26). At the meeting, they discussed culture and racial literacy in schools – the actor’s children with his wife Giovanna Ewbank, 35, were the target of racism in Portugal.
“We are firm and strong for culture, for racial literacy, for everything,” said the actor next to the candidate. Lula sent a message to Ewbank: “I want you to kiss your partner because you were heroes, what you did was something that a lot of people should have the same courage as you to do. racial prejudice in the country.”
“We did what we had to do”, Bruno replied hugging and kissing Lula. “My president,” added the actor in the video, which was shared on the actor’s and candidate’s Instagram profiles and was among the most talked about topics on Twitter. Janja, Lula’s wife, was one of the first to like the post on Instagram.
Ewbank also commented on the publication and thanked Lula for his support in the fight against racism. “Together. Thank you Lula, we will be together in the anti-racist struggle, fighting for more opportunities, education and health! We are all very hopeful and anxious for a better future.”
Actor Maurício Destri joked with the post: “I wanted a kiss like that”. Presenter Astrid Fontenelle posted a face emoji with a heart and singer Orlando Morais wrote: “What a beauty”, accompanied by a heart emoji. Actress Maria Flor commented: “That”, accompanied by the candidate’s number.
