Influencer Virginia Fonseca, 23, pregnant with her second child, did not like to receive a diagnosis through Twitter from a pediatrician who said that little Maria Alice, 1 year and 3 months old, would have speech delay.
The professional said that she usually “watches” the girl through Virginia’s Stories and that she noticed that she is taking a long time to speak her first words. But that didn’t go down well for the wife of countryman Zé Felipe, 24.
Through social media, Virginia vented. “Don’t be that kind of professional, for God’s sake. It’s not because I don’t post my daughter saying ‘duck’ when she sees her duck float, and post her saying ‘mommy’, because for me it’s much more exciting, that she’s late in speech,” he countered.
With an eight-month gestation, the influencer said that she could not stay without publishing an answer because it is a maternity issue and because of the hormones in her body. She also commented that Maria usually goes to the family pediatrician every month and that everything is fine.
“The kind of thing I get just to take my peace away. Have holy patience. I know I’ll still learn a lot with time. Soon, my other little princess will be here and, with that, I’m only acquiring more maturity to learn to deal with all this. Boring”, he ended.
