The annual list of the world’s most special destinations for 2021 includes Naxos and Sifnos, according to the Swiss travel magazine Imagine Magazin.
The “Special Destinations” list of the magazine, which includes destinations from all over the world, is gradually formed throughout the year through research of its travel editors. Apart from Naxos and Sifnos, the destinations included in the list for 2021 are Abu Dhabi, Curacao, Maldives, Stockholm, Dubai, Buenos Aires, Mauritius, Kilimanjaro, Salzburg, Sardinia, Tanzania, Tanzania, Tanzania Tenerife, Berlin, Aruba, Florida, Monaco, Qatar, Bodrum, Madeira and Aruba.
In the list of “special destinations” Naxos is presented as the “most complete” destination of the Cyclades that combines many different travel experiences. “In view of a new tourist season with many riddles, Naxos is gaining impressions thanks to its quality natural, cultural, historical and gastronomic characteristics”, said the Deputy Mayor of Tourism of Naxos & Small Cyclades, Vangelis Katsaras.

As the “calm force” of the Cyclades, Sifnos deservedly claims a place among the destinations that stand out for 2021 according to the magazine. “The destination” builds “strong relations with the traveling public, a fact that is proved by the number of repeated visitors but also the high endurance that Sifnos showed in this difficult situation”, said the mayor of Sifnos, Maria Nadali.
