Fernando Zor, duo from Sorocaba, is sued for R$ 123,000 per fan

Singer Fernando Zor, 38, duo from Sorocaba, 42, was sued by a fan for alleged fraud in a giveaway held on Instagram in October 2020. The follower would have been announced as the winner of a Jeep Renegade, SUV car, zero kilometers. However, a short time later, she would have received a message informing her that the prize was no longer hers.

According to the lawsuit, she asks for compensation of BRL 50,000, and the amount of BRL 123,900 – which is equivalent to full payment of the premium. The São Paulo Court of Justice judged the request as partially valid, and granted the plaintiff an indemnity for moral damages in the amount of R$ 10 thousand.

Now the process is on appeal. The plaintiff appealed the decision and Fernando Zor and ZorProduções e Participações Ltda filed an appeal asking for the reduction of the value. According to the document obtained by the F5the musician’s representatives claim that the request is intended to “avoid illicit enrichment”.
