The series ran for a total of 100 episodes and became one of the most talked about productions, not always for the right reasons

From 2009 to 2015, “Glee” was one of the most successful series on American and global television. It ran for a total of 100 episodes and became one of the most talked about productions, not always for the right reasons. As the years pass, more and more revelations come to light about the conditions of this particular production and what went on behind the cameras.

The many scandals that occupied the backstage of “Glee”

It was originally the case of Mark Sailing, who played Puck in the series. The actor was arrested and found guilty of possession of child pornography and eventually committed suicide while awaiting the appropriate sentence from justice. The death of actor Cory Monteith, star of the series, was also the one that shocked the public. He passed away at the age of 31 from a heroin overdose, leaving behind his beloved Lea Michele.

And while everyone was busy with Monteith’s death, it didn’t take long for various information to be released about Lea Michele’s behavior. She was accused by many members of the cast and the rest of the crew of bullying and verbal abuse during the filming of the series, something that follows her to this day. And finally, there is the tragic case of Naya Rivera, who just 2 years ago lost her life on a boat trip trying to save her son.

The documentary series does not yet have a specific title

It is still early enough to know further information about this particular project. The only thing that is certain is that it will try to shed light on many unknown aspects of the series. In fact, it is a Discovery+ production in collaboration with the ID company, which is behind the very recent documentary The House of Hammer, about the Armie Hammer case.
