When asked how she got to the point of forgiving her father, who had abandoned her mother when she was 3 years old, the actress said she did “a lot of treatments”.
“When she died, I was given the gift of talking to a spiritual healer, someone who did some spiritual exercises for me to heal my wound with my dad,” she said, adding that he helped her see that her father was like that. largely because of the lack of love and guidance he did not receive as a child. “

“As I discover things, I realize that this has been a trauma for generations. That my father was just trying to survive. He was trying to find himself, to find his manhood. And he did the best he could … When I saw him this way, I felt full of love and empathy for him. I felt sad for the life he lived. I realized that he was resorting to alcohol as a way to escape the fact that he was failing. “Looking at him like that, I was filled with love for him,” he concluded.
