Lana Del Rey In a video on Instagram, she informed her followers that a laptop, three video cameras and several hard drives were stolen from her car while it was parked in Los Angeles.
The singer revealed that the theft at Melrose Place a few months ago resulted in some unfinished songs being leaked, as well as personal photos being released online. She also said she was forced to delete her laptop files, which included a large book draft.
“I had to remotely wipe the computer that had my 200-page Simon & Schuster book on it, I hadn’t backed it up to the cloud. … And yet, people are still able, this week, to remotely access my phone and circulate our songs and personal photos,” he said.
Lana Del Rey expressed concerns about the footage contained in the stolen items, explaining that the footage includes members of her family over the past two years.
The singer pleaded with her fans to avoid listening to any of the leaked songs. “And as for the book, I loved the book I lost, I invested a lot of passion in it,” he noted.
