Those who follow the news about Kanye West, 45, can imagine that he is in trouble. But the rapper assures him not. After weeks of much criticism and even breakups with famous brands and magazines, he says he is not canceled, nor will he lose money.

When leaving the basketball game of his eldest daughter, North West, 9, the result of his marriage to Kim Kardashian, 42, on Friday night (21), the musician spoke to some journalists who were at the scene and assured that the breakup of the Balenciaga brand is not important.

West came to parade for the brand at the beginning of the month in Paris, but had the partnership broken last Friday (21) due to several controversies, such as mocking the Black Lives Matter movement and walking in clothes with the message White Lives Matter, as well as anti-Semitic speeches.

Also on Friday, Vogue announced that the magazine and its editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour, do not intend to work with Kanye West again. A source told Page Six that Anna has had enough of the rapper and has already made it very clear within Vogue that he is no longer part of her inner circle.

The musician’s recent statements also led the Lebron James player, 37, to suspend the interview that had been recorded with West for his show, The Shop, and made the Adidas brand declare that it is evaluating whether to continue the partnership with him. Justin Bieber also broke up with the rapper.

Since the beginning of the month, Kanye West has been causing unease among friends and co-workers for his statements. First for wearing hoodies with the phrase White Lives Matter during a fashion show, followed by criticism of the Black Lives Matter movement.

“Everyone knows Black Lives Matter was a hoax, now it’s over, you’re welcome,” he posted on his Instagram stories at the time. Days later, he was blocked from posting on Instagram and Twitter after posts with anti-Semitic sayings. He even apologized, but said he had no regrets.

This Friday, he returned to make controversial statements to TMZ. While downplaying the effects of his recent remarks, he said the backlash only proves what he’s already been saying about Jewish control behind the scenes in entertainment. “So many actors were bullied,” he said.

Amidst several controversies, Kanye West has also recently caused unease in relation to his love life. The day after Brazilian Juliana Nalú confirmed that she is dating the rapper, he declared that he is single, in addition to having made new statements to ex Kim Kardashian.
