She highlighted in the message that Tom was an amazing artist. “Smart, fun, irreverent. He was my friend and partner for 25 years. So many, many programs. So many, many mornings I lose count.”

“The longing that he leaves is huge, not only in me, but in everyone who lived with him or could watch him as Louro José. It remains the memory of the irreverence and happiness he brought us and everything he represented in our life” , wrote the presenter.

The actor died at the age of 47 on November 1, 2020 as a result of a hemorrhagic stroke (Cerebral Vascular Accident) caused by an aneurysm.

Louro José was conceived in 1996 by Ana Maria Braga. At the time, she presented Note e Anote, on Record, and he was the program’s studio assistant. Ana Maria tested several people from her team in manipulating the doll, but Tom Veiga stood out and stayed in the role.
