Celebrities mourn the death of presenter Rolando Boldrin: ‘Giant’

The famous mourned the death of presenter, musician and actor, Rolando Boldrin, on Wednesday afternoon (9), at the age of 86, in São Paulo. The death was confirmed by the press office of TV Cultura, home of Mr. Brasil, a program he ran for 17 years.

“Today we also lost the giant Rolando Boldrin, a giant at the service of Brazilian culture, thank you a million times master. May the earth be light to you”, wrote rapper Emicida on Twitter. Musician and former MTV VJ Luiz Thunderbird shared a photo of Boldrin on Twitter and mourned his passing. “A very sad day for culture. We lost Rolando Boldrin”, wrote the musician.

The singer Monica Salmaso mourned the death of the presenter on his profile on Instagram. “Oh my heart! Boldrin, the most beautiful person in the universe! Only Light and Love! Infinite!”, she wrote and added broken heart emojis. “I’m sorry for Rolando Boldrin who passed away today at the age of 86. God bless”, tweeted Alexandre Frota.

The singer and violist Adriana Farias commented that Boldrin will be greatly missed by the country culture. “My deep regret, she will be greatly missed by our country culture, with her songs, stories and way of praising artists. Go in peace caboclos.”

Actor Juliano Cazarré shared photos of Rolando Boldrin and Gal Gosto on Instagram and mourned the deaths of the two artists. “May God receive them in his infinite glory,” he wrote. “A unique human being. A complete artist. Rest in peace and may God grant peace to family, friends and fans. Really, a very sad day for Brazilian art and culture”, said Father Reginaldo Manzotti.

The singer Fafá de Belém shared the excerpt of a participation in the presenter’s program and mourned the death. She said that this moment will be forever etched in her memory. “Wise, kind, and who, whether as an actor, presenter, singer or storyteller, is part of the lives of all of us. A man of inestimable importance to Brazilian culture.”
