Fight between Sikêra and Xuxa: Justice lowers compensation from R$ 300 thousand to R$ 50 thousand

The presenter of Alerta Nacional (RedeTV!) Sikêra Jr., 56, had already been condemned in the first instance by the Justice to pay R$ 300 thousand to Xuxa Meneghel, 59. However, according to the Court of Justice of São Paulo, the compensation fell to BRL 50 thousand. The information was first given by UOL columnist Rogério Gentile and confirmed by F5🇧🇷

Sikêra made a connection between the presenter and an alleged case of pedophilia. In 2020, he said that Xuxa would have taken children “to mischief” and that pedophilia “is a crime and does not prescribe”.

Xuxa, in turn, claimed that she was humiliated on national television and that Sikêra uses her program to offend her honor. In the first instance, she won the lawsuit. The case continues in court.

In June, Sikêra entered into an agreement with the Public Ministry of Amazonas to pay R$ 2,000 to a charity in the process that involves offenses against presenter Xuxa. This is the criminal action whose agreement was accepted so that he could get rid of a possible criminal conviction.

But the fights in court not only affect the queen of the little ones, but her boyfriend, Junno Andrade, 59. In September, the presenter was convicted in the second instance in the lawsuit brought against him by the singer. Junno was called a “jugolô” who “does nothing in life” and who “has tried everything and is unable to succeed” during one of the 2020 editions of Alerta Nacional (RedeTV!). Sought, Sikêra and his lawyer did not respond to requests.

In the first instance, Sikêra had already been condemned to pay R$ 10,000 to Junno. Now, it must be increased by interest and monetary correction. According to a document from the Court of Justice of São Paulo, the appeal by the presenter of RedeTV! was denied and the sentence upheld. There is still an appeal. The broadcaster also did not return the F5 about the subject.
