Lizzie Kaplan wouldn’t say no to another 2004 Mean Girls movie.
The actress has spoken about the possibility of reprising her role as Janice Ian in a potential sequel, telling Grazia USA that she wouldn’t miss the film, though she has some questions about whether there needs to be a sequel.
“Of course I would like to be a part of it. I’d be stupid not to participate. But to me it seems like “Mean Girls” had a really good beginning, middle and end. I don’t know what is left to be told from the story,” he said.
Kaplan’s co-star Lindsay Lohan has also expressed her desire to do another Mean Girls movie, telling Andy Cohen in April 2020 that “it would be my dream to come back and do a sequel.”
A new Mean Girls movie is currently in the works, adapting the 2018 Tony-nominated musical. Who will star in the musical version of “Mean Girls”, as well as its release date have not yet been announced.
