The end of Jojo Todynho’s marriage became a police case. This Saturday (10), the singer told her followers that she decided to file a police report against her ex-husband Lucas Souza. She revealed that she had been verbally assaulted and, therefore, decided to ask for a restrictive measure to avoid another type of violence. Jojo announced the end of the relationship with the military at the end of October.
“I just left the DEAM (Specialized Police Station for Women) together with my lawyer. I filed a police report, a protective measure against Lucas, after being insulted. He attacked me and the aggression is not just physical, it’s psychological too. A woman, when she says no, means no”, began the presenter of Central da Copa, on Globo.
The singer also said that the confusion happened because she denied reconciliation proposals. “I don’t accept disrespect because I didn’t disrespect him, I didn’t diminish him as a man. I won’t accept that he does this to me”, explained Jojo. She avoided giving details about the attack.
Jojo continued with his outburst: “I came here to leave it on record, because man, my love, whoever he is, you don’t grow here. You really don’t grow. My friend, you’re already living your life, doing your things, live your life , forget me once and for all”, she asked that she even hired security guards to accompany her day and night. “I’ve always walked alone, I’ve done my things alone, but today it’s not possible anymore. I have to protect myself because I don’t know the person I used to live with. I’m getting to know them now.”
