The famous actress, Salma Hayek, she has no dilemmas about her children’s Christmas presents. She wants her children to be “humble” and not spoil them.
“My children are humble. I don’t know how I did it, but I think what was great is that they have a wide range of options,” said the actress, who is married to fashion billionaire François-Henri Pinault.
“So at Christmas I like them opening their presents, but some of them are very small and meaningful, some are very silly and playful and then they get one or two really nice ones.”
Pinault is the chief executive of luxury fashion group Kering, which owns brands such as Gucci, Saint Laurent and Balenciaga.
Meanwhile, the 56-year-old beauty says that, despite Hollywood’s obsession with “little” actresses, she isn’t competing with any young ladies herself, but she doesn’t feel… threatened either.
“I’m too busy to compare or compete with these other women,” she said at the launch of the new issue of DuJour magazine, which features her on the cover. “I’ve got four kids and thirty animals, so I’m just doing my thing.”
She added: “So I don’t look at other women in this industry. I just have to be good with myself and I’m just focusing on that.”
