Since becoming famous more than two decades ago, the Alicia Silverstone she strongly defends animal rights and is one of Hollywood’s best-known vegetarians.

That’s why she didn’t hesitate when asked to do a new campaign for PETA, in which she had to be naked, accept it and wear only a pair of boots.

“If I have to strip to make you care about animals, I hope I can,” the 46-year-old “Clueless” star said in a campaign video.

“I never, ever, ever strip on TV, in the movies, in anything, ever, no, but I did it for PETA, because I care so much,” she explained.

“I’d rather get naked than wear animals. There’s this idea that leather is somehow better for the Earth, but they don’t realize that the amount of resources—water, food, oil for transportation—the amount of energy it takes to make leather is something that the Earth can not stand. It’s not sustainable.”

In fact, this is not the first time the actress has stripped for a cause she supports. Three years ago he also did it for PETA, to encourage people to get rid of wool, with an eye-catching ad in Times Square.

Silverstone has been a vegetarian since 1999, when she was 21, and continues to glorify the meat-free lifestyle. The actress had also come on vacation to Greece and even published photos on social media.
