After two years away from the stage, Karol Conká returned to performing shows this weekend. In addition to the good reception from the public, the singer was also surprised by a fan who invaded her van after a concert at the Batekoo party, this Saturday (18), in Rio de Janeiro.
In her TikTok account, Jojo Dupre said she waited for security to go to the bathroom before getting into the rapper’s vehicle and hiding behind the bank. When the car was already in motion, the fan introduced herself to the singer’s team. “People have a girl here in the van,” Karol said, chuckling.
“You just have a crazy fan,” said Jojo. “I said: ‘I’m going to get in Karol’s van and when she gets in, I’m going to get out’. What did I do? I slept.”
“Does someone call the police, please? Joana broke into my van. They’ll start saying I kidnapped her, but that’s a lie. She’s the one who’s kidnapping me. Children don’t repeat that at home. No breaking into Mamacita’s van”, said the rapper, joking, with the van already stopped, beside the fan.
Afterwards, the young woman got a ride back to the Madureira neighborhood with the singer’s driver.
“Karol was sweet, she even told me not to call her producer,” wrote Jojo on Twitter. “I said this happens very often, oddly enough.”
“I’m fully aware that I was disrespectful and clueless and I’ve already apologized to whoever owed it that Karol was producing her. And I don’t recommend that anyone ever do that,” he continued. “I just want you to get rid of all the collective hatred.”
“This show is proof that I’ve never been alone and that life after the fall is more satisfying and full of learning when we let ourselves,” the rapper wrote on her Instagram profile on Saturday, referring to the performance.
Karol participated in Big Brother Brasil 21 at the beginning of the year and was widely criticized for her position in the reality show in relation to other participants. She ended up being eliminated with 99.17%, the highest rejection rate in the program’s history.
