by

The singer announced that he had left Capitol Records before his music was even released.

More than 18 months have passed since the Morrissey announced for the first time his upcoming album “Bonfire of Teenagers” and from the looks of his posts on his personal blog, the LP is likely to be shelved once again after the singer revealed that he has left his record label.

But the bad news is not the only one for the British singer, as he announced that the Miley Cyrus requested that her vocals be removed from the song ‘I Am Veronica’, without further explanation.

In particular, the singer announced that he left Capitol Records, before his music could even be released.

In November, Morrissey announced that his album, Bonfire of Teenagers, due out in February 2023, was no longer on the label’s schedule, noting: “Its fate rests solely in the hands of Capitol Records (Los Angels)”.

The former frontman of the Smiths has been increasingly isolated in recent years from the public, but also from his colleagues, because of the political positions he expresses and his racist statements.
