Jake Gyllenhaal stated that the filming of personal love scenes with her Jennifer Aniston it wasn’t easy because of his real-life flirtation with the 53-year-old “Friends” star.
The 42-year-old actor opened up about filming the love scenes in the 2002 film, ‘The Good Girl’. The plot follows two lovers, who start a relationship after each is bored with their dead-end jobs and work environment.
Speaking in an interview on “The Howard Stern Show”, the famous actor was asked by the host if it was “torture” to shoot love scenes with someone he liked in real life.
He replied jokingly: “It was torture, yes it was…”. However, he later clarified that such is the “mechanical nature” of the love scenes, he thankfully managed to keep his true feelings for Jennifer Aniston well under wraps.
“Weirdly, the sex scenes are awkward because there’s maybe 30, 50 people watching,” he said. He explained that filming intimate, erotic scenes is a dance, like choreographing it for the camera.
