From Marcelo D2 to Alinne Moraes, celebrities criticize Bolsonaro’s trip to the USA

Celebrities criticized on social media President Jair Bolsonaro’s (PL) trip to the United States to spend New Year’s Eve.

“Have you noticed that the ‘patriots’ are all in Miami… I’ve been saying this for a long time. Patriots of Miami… Hate Brazil, love Miami”, wrote Marcelo D2.

Actress Alinne Moraes published a montage on Instagram, in which former president Dilma Rousseff (PT) appears in the window of an airplane jumping with a parachute with a sign saying “Bye, darling”. In the caption, she wrote: “At 2:02 pm, the FAB aircraft took off, taking Jair Messias to the United States. #Bye-bye”.

Actor Bruno Gissoni shared the montage published by Alinne Moraes. He also wrote in stories: “And, in the end, the worst and most cowardly president in history… He ran away”.

The comedian Maurício Meirelles made a joke, comparing the trip to the “Truck Patriot” episode. “Did no one do the patriot montage on the front of the plane?” he questioned on Twitter.

Chef Bel Coelho reproduced in Instagram stories a tweet by federal deputy André Janones (Avante-MG), who says that Bolsonaro “should flee to some political asylum as soon as his arrest is decreed”. She also shared a post by anthropologist Lilia Schwarcz that reads “Attention. President prepares his escape, and with public money”.

Jair Bolsonaro took off for the United States this Friday (30). He decided to disregard the democratic rite and will not pass the sash to the graduated president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT).
