Mother of former Globo comedian denies aggression on the last day of 2022: ‘It was a family fight’

Three days after the arrest of actor Filipe Pontes, in Ribeirão Preto, in the interior of São Paulo, accused of assaulting his mother and brother, Silvania Pontes made a video denying the confusion involving his firstborn. The housewife said that she was pushed to separate the two children from a warmer discussion and defended the former Globo comedian. “At no time did Filipe hit me,” she said.

“Philipeche came home upset, drunk, speaking loudly… I asked him to speak more quietly. He, upset, began to speak louder. My other son, younger, woke up, tried to interfere and get in the way. It became an argument between two brothers.”, began in the video.

Silvania continued with the story. “Afraid of a fight, I got in the middle to separate and was pushed and stuff. There was a fight, an argument inside the house. The police were called, taken to the police station, filed an incident report. There was a person from the media who posted Filipe’s photo and did an article, but at no time did Filipe hit me”.

Finally, she reinforced: “I have nothing, he didn’t hit me. That’s not what happened. We had a family fight and Filipe is at friends’ houses, working… What happened in the media made me sadder than what happened in here and home.”

On Saturday, December 31st, the F5 contacted the Public Security Secretariat of São Paulo, which confirmed the arrest of Filipe Pontes. “He is accused of assaulting his own mother, aged 57. The victim requested an urgent protective measure and the perpetrator will be held until a custody hearing is held.”, read the note.

The comedian became known for his work at Globo, imitating the presenters Luciano Huck and Fausto Silva, in addition to the character Tufão from the soap opera “Avenida Brasil” (2012), in the humorous attractions of the house. He also acted in the programs Pânico na Band, on Band TV and Legendários, on Record.
