Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan Markle released this Thursday (23) their official Christmas card and showed, for the first time, their six-month-old daughter, Lilibet. The baby is being held aloft by the mother and receiving admiring glances from the royal couple.
The photo taken by photographer Alexi Luborniski also includes two-year-old son Archie in the lap of the British prince. The boy was born before the renunciation of royal duties by Harry and Meghan, announced in 2020.
The holiday card is accompanied by text that reads: “This year, 2021, we welcomed our daughter, Lilibet, into the world. Archie made us ‘mommy’ and ‘daddy’, and Lili made us a family. “
The letter continues to announce the couple’s Christmas contributions to charity. “As we wait for 2022, we made donations [por meio dos contribuintes britânicos] to various organizations that honor and protect families —from evacuated Afghanistan, to American families who need parental leave.”
Harry and Meghan are currently living in Santa Barbara, California, United States. Away from UK royalty, they have opted to preserve their children’s privacy and post few images of the children on social media.
