Senator Jorge Kajuru (Podemos-GO) paid an unusual tribute to his former Senate colleague, Álvaro Dias: he tattooed the face of the former senator from Paraná. On Wednesday (19), Kajuru shared a video on social media showing the drawing for Dias and his family with the caption “eternal homage”.
Before lifting his shirt, the senator said that the tattoo was a tribute he promised to do on the Senate floor. “I want to present my way of thanking this public man that Brazil admires. We became friends, so God gave me this gift”, stated Kajuru.
Dias and the family were surprised by the tribute. “How barbaric, this is the greatest demonstration of friendship I’ve ever received. An honor for me, it’s the back of a good man. Brave,” said Dias after Kajuru lifted his shirt to show the drawing. “For a good man,” replied Kajuru.
In addition to Dias’ face, Kajuru has already tattooed drawings of her friends José Luiz Datena, Adriane Galisteu, Cláudia Leite and her mother. In 2017, the senator showed the tattoos on the Porchat Program (Record) and complained that Galisteu’s tattoo was not good. “Terrible tattoo artist. It was very bad, she got mad at me”, said the senator about the presenter’s drawing.
