“I never got to go to my own college graduation. I quit in the wake of the 2008 financial crash, opting for the financial security I hoped modeling would bring.
Modeling was paying more than my friends were making, and I was afraid I’d end up with student loan debt. I also knew that the space was quite difficult. They all reminded me that women have an expiration date. So I dropped my education and focused on work instead.”
Emily, she says, continues to work hard and inspire others, but is also now a divorced mother of a young child. The famous star officially filed for divorce from Bear-McLard last year in September.
