Alygistos Olympiacos won a thriller with a save in stoppage time!

Olympiacos won a match with an exciting finale, winning 23-22 against Aeropo Edessa.

The “red and whites” avoided losses and continue at the top of the Handball Premier after the 15th matchday.

Olympiacos took the victory by force, after the visitors found themselves with a lead of five goals (11-16) at halftime. In the first ten minutes of the second half, the “red and white” reacted and equalized at 17-17, while in the 45th minute they took the lead with 19-18. The match turned into a thriller, with the guests drawing 20-20, 21-21 and 22-22. Dobris with a well-timed penalty shot gave Olympiakos the lead at 58.50, but Bauer was crowned mvp of the match.

The goalkeeper of Olympiakos saved a Kostakidis penalty in stoppage time and kept the victory for Piraeus.

The first scorer for the winners was Niokas with five goals, followed by Weber with four, while Kostakidis scored five for the losers.
