“Things got better. I felt better throughout the week, regaining my vital energy. It’s one day after another, a maxim for anyone undergoing any treatment”, he said.
“I’m getting ready to start another cycle of chemotherapy. I’m not going to create many expectations, knowing that I have the support of doctors, science and people’s love”, added the singer.
The artist also thanked the thousands of messages of affection from fans and said she is confident. “I have no other option: face it and heal,” she ended.
The diagnosis was only revealed days after her hospitalization. Initially, the singer’s family had said that she had been hospitalized on January 5 due to a persistent migraine attack, which made doctors recommend a series of tests. “The resonance of the head did not give anything, everything is fine. Her intestine is stuck, maybe she has to do a wash and then go back home”, said Flora Gil, wife of Gilberto Gil, father of the singer.
