A pleasant surprise awaited patrons of “The Robin Hood” pub in Tring, Hertfordshire, England, who were unsuspecting last Saturday eating their lunch and drinking their beer,
Suddenly, the door opened and Keanu Reeves entered the pub!
The famous actor and ‘Matrix’ star visited the pub for lunch – fish and chips to be specific – leaving customers and staff speechless.

“So today we had a surprise visitor for lunch… What a wonderful person he was!” wrote pub staff on their Facebook page, posting a photo of the actor.
“Laura (staff member) asked if she could have her picture taken with the kitchen workers. He entered the kitchen, shook their hands and praised them for the food they had prepared. Needless to say, it made their day!!!’
In fact, chef Scott Valentine told BBC News that at first he didn’t think it was Keanu Reeves. “I went to get a drink from the bar and saw him ordering a drink. I thought ‘he looks a bit like Keanu Reeves’.
When his colleague confirmed it was the actor, Scott admitted that everyone “started to freak out a little bit”.
“It was a bit stressful because I had to cook for him, but we served him the food and he said thank you and it was really nice.”
The store managers even revealed that the Hollywood star “made” their day, as he went to the kitchen to thank them for the food!
“He came into the kitchen, shook our hands and said the food was great,” said the pub chef.
