The organization of the event has the support, as a Communication sponsor, of the Athenian-Macedonian News Agency and there is a communication for a similar participation of the ANADOLU News Agency of Turkey.

The Board of Directors of the Mikis Theodorakis Zatounas Museum expresses its pain, compassion, love and solidarity, for the tragedy… without end, from the devastating earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria.

Unfortunately, the losses of people and in general the consequences of the earthquake will follow the neighbors for a long time and our solidarity and help must be substantial and lasting…

For the record, in 1999, after the then deadly earthquake in Turkey, a large solidarity concert was organized by the GSEE and the trade unions of the neighboring country, in Istanbul, with the participation of Mikis Theodorakis himself, the Mikis Theodorakis Orchestra, Maria Farandouris and Zulfi Livaneli.
