The country singer Murilo Huff made an outburst on a social network this Thursday morning (30), hours after the confirmation of the death of his professional colleague Maurílio. Father of Marília Mendonça’s son, Murilo confessed to feeling “fear” and “uncertainty”.
“Going to sleep with a knot in his chest,” he wrote on his Twitter account, where he has 344,400 followers. “Each day more filled with various uncertainties and fears.”
In addition to losing his friend Maurílio, victim of pulmonary thromboembolism, Murilo is still dealing with the death of his ex, Marília, who died in the crash of a private aircraft in Minas Gerais. The two had a relationship that lasted about two years, which generated Léo.
Huff tried, however, to show optimism, ending the tweet with the phrase: “May we not lose faith and the will to keep fighting.” The singer’s fans showed support with messages of comfort in the post’s comments.
The countryman also republished a photo posted by singer Cesar Menotti, which depicts an embrace between Maurílio and Marília. Just this Thursday, he made a statement to his son on Instagram by posting a picture of the two posing in matching shirts.
“They think I’ll take care of you, but you’re the one who takes care of me. You’re the one who gives me the strength and desire to continue living,” he blurted out. “I love you very much, my mighty son.”
