BBB 23: Cezar Black is only the 3rd leader to be challenged with Punishment of the Monster in 23 editions

Cezar Black spent more time in the resistance test than enjoying the advantages of being in the VIP, a group that receives special meals on BBB 23 (Globo). That’s because the leader of the week was chosen by the angel, Ricardo Alface, to carry out the Punishment of the Monster starting this Saturday (18).

With that, the Bahia native lost the rights to the perks he won with the position, won in a test that lasted almost 16 hours, during which he had to stay inside a supermarket cart that rotated on top of a structure. Quite irritated with his rival’s decision, he was upset to discover that the food from the leader’s room had all been removed.

The decision caused controversy both inside and outside the “most watched house in the country”. In addition to Cezar, the participants closest to him were outraged by the fact, calling Alface “ridiculous”, among other adjectives. Part of the crowd also thought it was unfair. However, another part celebrated a lot, saying that the biomedical surprised and “served entertainment”.

It is worth remembering that, as leader, Cezar will send someone straight to the wall on Sunday (19), without the right to participate in the Prova Bate-Volta. However, even before the punishment, he had already told some colleagues that he would indicate Alface, with whom he has been at odds in confinement.

Still, the act can be considered courageous. Although the leader can be placed in this situation, it has only happened on three occasions before. The first to do so was Ieda Wobeto, from BBB 17, who, upon winning the Prova do Anjo, was not shy about punishing leader Pedro Falcão — he ended up not opting for the retiree to go to the wall that week.

At BBB 19, it was Isabella Cecchi’s turn to use the same trick. She won the Trial of the Angel and put the then leader Elana Valenária to fulfill the punishment. This time, there was no forgiveness and the potiguar ended up being placed by the leader on the wall (and being eliminated in the same week).

Since then, something similar had only happened on BBB 22, but in a slightly different situation. Natália Deodato was not an angel, but in a Game of Discord she had to choose between her friend Jessilane and her boyfriend Eliezer to suffer a consequence. She opted for the second, which was that week’s leader.

Eliezer had to serve an extraordinary Monster Punishment, despite not losing VIP privileges. Natália said that she believed that the beloved would understand, but he was quite irritated at the time.
