Carnival 2023: José Loreto vents and says he never betrayed anyone: ‘Everything is a lie’

With blue and silver glitter eyeliner, José Loreto arrived at one of the cabins at Sapucaí, in the early hours of this Tuesday (21). Participating in the Portela parade, it is the actor’s first time on the avenue. “I was bitten by the Carnival mosquito, now I want it every year”, he says, in a conversation with journalists, in which the F5 participated.

Despite the joy, the actor made a long outburst in which he says he was “hurt” with the constant speculation about his personal life.

“There was no kiss on Jade Picon. People can’t see me talking because they’re already inventing”, he criticizes, after rumors point out that he would have exchanged kisses with the actress. “I’m 38 years old and focused on my job and my daughter,” he says. “I’m on another ride, I’ve been separated for over a month, I have freedom”.

In January, the actor and Rafa Kalimann broke up, a relationship that lasted about six months. Loreto classifies all the rumors as “aggressive” and “perverse”, and claims he never cheated on Rafa or Débora Nascimento, with whom he was once married.

“99% of what comes out about my personal life is a lie. I never cheated”, he points out. And he adds: “These speculations affect my relationships. Anyone I introduce myself to already say: ‘I don’t want to’ or ‘[você] worthless’. I don’t want to play that game.”

Currently playing Lui Lorenzo in “Vai Na Fé” (Globo), José says that the “androgynous and feminine” character impregnated him. “I record from Monday to Saturday, nine hours a day, and I took to it. It’s not makeup that will affect anything, I think it’s great to raise this puerile question”.
