The year 2021 practically left the world with its pent-up desires and dreams. The new coronavirus pandemic has put personal and professional goals in the background. However, with the advance of the vaccine and the perspective of a better scenario, 2022 will be the year to take things off the paper.
This is the thinking that has driven the planning of famous people for the coming year. In addition to health, they say they want to travel, catch up on their tours, launch new projects, throw lots of parties and even have children.
Singer Fafá de Belém, 65, used 2021 to rethink her life, as she says she lost many friends with Covid-19. “This makes us review our finitude and what is fundamental. I understood that we need a lot less and look more at the other”, he says.
Her wish for 2022 is that “deniers remember that the vaccine is for humanity” and asks for more awareness among the people. “Social differences have to be reviewed in this country.”
The year of comedian and musician Rafael Cortez, 45, was one of achievements. He released the album “Que Sorte a Minha”, whose songs were composed in 2020, and in November the show Matéria Prima debuted on TV Cultura, something he had been trying since 2020.
For the next, he says, the idea will be to make a living from work, without concessions. “I want to be a recognized artist who can make a living from art. In a country like this, which has a president who hates artists, it’s a tremendous request for the universe,” he says, who also wants to travel more often to a place and enjoy the nature.
Singer Vitor Kley, 27, says he had a 2021 “very crazy and weird”. He says he spent a good part of the season with “mental imbalance”, mainly due to the lack of shows. And that’s what he wants to change next year.
“I really want life to come back. For everyone to be well, healthy. For us to be able to mentally balance and pursue our goals again, to be free,” he points out.
Singer, actress and presenter Jeniffer Nascimento, 28, wants to raise her family. But if it doesn’t happen in 2022, no problem. The intention is to hope that the universe conspires in favor of motherhood. On the professional side, everything seems shorter.
“I aspire to have an international career, do things abroad, have my own projects as a presenter. I’m developing some. And in the audiovisual sector, I want to do other genres, drama and characters that the public hasn’t seen yet”, she explains.
Singer Vinny, 55, used 2021 to intellectually refresh himself. The artist managed to finish training earlier this year in psychoanalysis and saw many patients online while his music projects were stalled. Only, in 2022, besides kissing everyone he loves, he wants to focus on his music career and play a concert tour in partnership with the band LS Jack.
Singer Tico Santa Cruz, 44, who in 2021 dealt with political disagreements and even suffered threats on the internet, recalls that 2022 will be an election year and, therefore, will demand energy from the people in the face of the crisis. But he sees the year ahead in a positive way.
“With Detonautas, we have two big projects: a record release in January and a big one that we were contracted in 2019 by Sony to do and was on hold. On the personal side, we can get rid of this genocidal government at the polls and seek reconstruction of the country”, he says.
The wishes of singers Di Ferrero, 36, and Gretchen, 62, are similar and work-related. Ferrero hopes to have the patience to fulfill the dreams that have accumulated during these years of the pandemic and that the concerts can “come back once and for all to deflate our wound”. And Gretchen wants the pandemic to end to make her events and walk without a mask.
Physician and writer Thelma Assis, 37, only thinks of celebrating the return of a safe routine from the point of view of health for everyone. “Coronavirus continues to exist and science is fighting to fight it,” he warns.
But she says she can already visualize everything she plans to do in 2022 in a less dangerous scenario. “I’m a big party, I want to be able to go back to parties, Carnival in a safe way”, she adds, who also wants to continue a project in which she interviews relevant public people.
