BBB 23: What is missing for reality to finally take off? Tips from experts

The BBB 23 reached a month of airing on the last day 16 with the feeling of a season that still needs to warm up. On the last 9th, a study published by the Zapping column showed that the reality audience is the lowest since the first edition, held in 2002. On the internet, users constantly criticize Big Brother Brasil about the need for changes in dynamics.

Influencers who follow the program, with comments practically in real time, share this feeling. Twitter user and lawyer Bárbara Magalhães, BBBabi, who has more than 340,000 followers, and content creator Gabrielle Medeiros, from @inutilidadesdagabi – with more than 30,000 subscribers – agree on one point: the production lacks a firm hand in relation to the cast .

The predictability of programming and the lack of direct conflicts has affected the temperature of reality. For Gabrielle, nobody goes head-to-head. “Despite being a good point of the week, the Game of Discord takes away people’s will to ‘shack’. They hold it for Monday, don’t resolve conflicts and keep bringing things from weeks ago”, completes Bárbara.

SUGGESTIONS TO IMPROVE THE BBB 23

Both Gabriellle and Babi miss more resistance tests. “It had to be a test of root resistance, the style of the first BBBs to make them stay inside a car with several people. These tests test their patience until the last remnant”, points out Gabrielle.

Still on the battles between the brothers, the administrator of @inutilidadesdagabi has an extra idea: “I would like to have a group leader test, and then everyone in the group who wins would be immune. Paredão (laughs). It would generate a wonderful discomfort”.

Babi, who has followed the reality show since the first editions, believes that a good idea would be for the program to resume the food tasting. The current format, in which the leader indicates who is part of the VIP or Xepa, ends up “centralizing” the bullshit. “For those who don’t remember, they drew groups and, if they lost, they kept pointing fingers at who had failed”, she recalls.

In addition, the double bet that some dynamics already used this season, if they are well thought out, can give an extra heat. “A nice thing was the open voting, on the Sunday before last. If there is one of these every 15 days, it helps more. The last week was more hectic because of that”, says Babi.

There is even hope that the entry of a foreign participant will improve the rhythm. As anticipated by director Boninh, on social networks, there should be an exchange between the Brazilian BBB and La Casa de los Famosos, a similar reality shown by Telemundo in the USA.

“I would like to see people from the common people, drivers, salespeople, manicurists, people who don’t have their tails tied up with Instagram and join the game, with nothing to lose. Perhaps the dynamic with the brother from another country who will enter the house will generate a buzz. Let’s pray”, jokes Gabrielle.

Influencers also criticize the final edition of the program. For Bárbara, there is a lack of a better definition of who is the villain and the good guy of the season, which has made it difficult to hook the public. “Globo should improve the edition, on Tuesdays [dia de eliminação] they used to be better. There is an attempt to be neutral, white paper, but the Brazilian who watches BBB loves a soap opera”, concludes Babi.
