BBB 23: ‘I should have joined too to have a certain balance’, says Key Alves’ twin sister

Interviewing Keyt Alves by phone can be strange for anyone who usually follows her sister, Key Alves, talking — sometimes even more than she should — on BBB 23 (Globo). Identical twins, the two are not only very similar physically, but also impress by their voice, laugh and even some similar mannerisms.

Professional volleyball players, both act as liberos, but the similarities stop there. The personalities, according to Keyt, are not alike. “Not at all!” he states. “She is much more emotional and acts on impulses. I am more rational and should also have come in to have a certain balance”, jokes the real-life sister about the tense moment that the sister lives in the most guarded house in Brazil.

In the last few days alone, Key lost her boyfriend and playing partner (Gustavo was eliminated with 71.78% of the votes on the sixth wall) and was nominated for the spotlight by MC Guimê, Anjo da Semana, who exceptionally had the power to nominate someone to the Wall. She was only saved because she won the Prova Bate-Volta, to the annoyance of many netizens, who compare her to Karol Conka. “Honestly, I hope she wins the final prize because she’s going to have to give me half. I want a reward for everything I’m going through out here. Such suffering.”

Unable to follow the program as she would like, since her team (Vôlei Vinhedo) currently competes in Superliga B, Keyt gets tense every time her sister opens her mouth inside the house. On one of these occasions, the participant revealed a threesome proposal that striker Neymar would have made to the two twins. “She is already without a filter outside the house and even forgetting that she has cameras, as with all the brothers and sisters, she becomes a danger (laughs). Every week is a surprise. Fear”, she comments with good humor.

As for the hot scenes starring Key and Gustavo under the duvet, Keyt confesses that she was worried about her parents’ reaction. “All parents are protective of their children, right? They didn’t see it, but they heard about it because there’s always someone to tell. I think that after she leaves the reality show, they [os pais] will say something. But who am I to judge my sister. Again: she forgot the cameras (laughs).”

Keyt also talks about the controversy related to the difficulty that the two would have in making friends with women, according to the sister said to the allies of the Fundo do Mar room. “Key has always found it easier to make friends, but she plays volleyball and hangs out with 14 girls and of course she has friends. But it’s a choice. She trusts her friends more, that’s her business. I’m everyone’s friend.”
