The digital influencer and former BBB Camilla de Lucas said on social media that the groom, the musician Mateus Ricardo, known as Blecaute, suffered racism inside the high-end condominium where she lives.
According to Camilla, a local employee would have confused him with a service provider. “The people look like workers. By stereotype, they will never think you live there”, she wrote on Twitter.
“My fiancé left the house, left the car and used an app. The condominium here is of a high standard, the guy saw him leaving our house and asked: ‘Do you work in here?’ When it was time to leave, my fiancé explained the exit and he [funcionário] said that the way was not that”, amended the influencer.
This was not the first time that Camilla was faced with a scene of racism. In September of last year, she had already denounced an episode of racial prejudice that she said she suffered from a stewardess during an international flight when returning from the United States. The former BBB said that she was the only passenger to have her seat questioned in business class by the flight attendant.
“The flight is full and all the seats are here and the woman came to ask just about my seat. She asked if I was really sitting here. The woman didn’t ask for anyone else. Then I say that things happen and you think not happens”, she commented at the time, visibly nervous.
“Just one more embarrassment because people think we can’t occupy certain places”, he concluded, already crying with the situation.
