Steven Spielberg revealed which of his films he considers “pretty perfect.” The American director and producer has made 34 films since 1971, many of which are considered classics.

However, Steven Spielberg has admitted that it is difficult for him to watch his films again, but there is one that he has revisited and knows is undeniably great.

“I don’t watch my movies after I’ve made them,” the director said while a guest on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” adding, “I don’t look back very often, but occasionally I watch a movie with my kids.”

Steven Spielberg explained that he wanted to “comfort his children when they saw the movie ‘ET’ for the first time” adding: “I didn’t want them to see the movie ‘ET’ without their father sitting with them – especially during the scary parts at the beginning ».

Spielberg clarified that he actually enjoys watching the 1982 film, fully titled ET: The Extra-Terrestrial.

“Sometimes I see things I meant to do that I didn’t, and sometimes I see things that would have been a better idea than what I’m watching now all these years later – but for the most part ‘ET’ is a pretty perfect movie” , he said.

“It’s one of the few movies I’ve made that I can actually watch over and over,” he said.
