The British royal family is increasingly facing internal rifts that become public. Days after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry confirmed an eviction order from Frogmore Cottage, a gift given by Queen Elizabeth II to the couple, the backstage of their daughter’s christening comes to light.

As reported by People magazine, sources have confirmed that King Charles III, Queen Camilla, Prince William and Kate Middleton are not attending Lilibet’s christening. According to the newspaper, the ceremony took place on Friday (3) of last week, at the couple’s mansion in Montecito, California.

According to the vehicle, the meeting was attended by 30 people, one of them Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, and Lilibet’s godfather, Tyler Perry. “I can confirm that Princess Lilibet Diana was baptized on Friday, March 3rd by the Archbishop of Los Angeles, the Reverend John Taylor,” a spokesperson for the couple said.

This week, British media reported that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had received invitations to the King’s coronation ceremony, which will take place on May 6, but have not yet decided whether to attend. Some guest artists, such as Adele and Harry Styles, declined to sing at the event.
