Conrado criticizes the exclusion of Sorvetão in the Special of 60 Years of Xuxa: ‘We will continue Bolsonarists’

On March 27, Xuxa Meneghel will turn 60 and Globo has prepared a special program to honor her with several attractions. This Wednesday (8), the presenter participated in the recordings of the program Altas Horas ‘Xuxa 6.0’, which will air next Saturday (10), with the audience filled with relatives, friends, fans and former paquitas. Who was left out of the production was Andréa Sorvetão, excluded in advance from the meeting after a disagreement with Xuxa last year.

Andréa and Xuxa cut relations due to political positioning. The former paquita never hid being a supporter of Jair Bolsonaro, with whom the presenter was involved in several public discussions. Conrado, Andrea’s husband, did not conform and used social networks to demonstrate against the veto. The singer criticized the couple’s former friend. “As if you could erase someone’s history by their political position,” he began.

Conrado, then, continued with the outburst and mocked. “Hi, Brazil. We are and will continue to be married, from a traditional family, with all the flaws and evangelicals. Oh, and a lot of Bolsonarists”, he observed.

In June 2021, the couple posted a video on Valentine’s Day. In the publication, the two asked for help from the brands because they formed a “straight, Christian and traditional” couple. The publication had great repercussions and almost a year later Xuxa gave an interview about her relationship with the former stage assistants. “For me they are great, they are wonderful. Now, there are some paquitas that I no longer want in my life, never again near me. They are human beings who, for me, are flawed. Who knows, maybe one day they can say to me like that : ‘I regret it, I made a mistake’, and maybe I’ll come and talk”, he said at the time that it was considered a hint to Sorvetão.
