The influencer Whindersson Nunes told his followers that he called the Life Appreciation Center (CVV), this Thursday (23). In a post on Twitter, the comedian reported how the experience was and recommended the service for those who need emotional support.
“I called CVV [Centro de Valorização da Vida] today. It was really nice, a nice girl with a calm voice talked to me. I cried a lot, but the experience of talking about everything with an anonymous person is very liberating. If you need help, call 188”, he wrote, in a post that has more than 37,000 likes and 1.6 million views.
In a follow-up post, Whindersson said Regina, his pet dog, has been an important link in this mental issue. “Regina is my emotional support. I see her getting old, going up the stairs slowly, it hurts me a lot. I don’t know what to do when I no longer have my companion”.
The Center for Valuing Life – the CVV – provides free assistance to all people who need to talk, providing emotional support and suicide prevention. The call is completely confidential and contact can be made by phone, email and chat 24 hours a day. By phone, just call 188.
