The players were asked to be inspired by performances of the music competition and present original looks in order to win the coveted… five
With stories that made everyone on the set cry, but also performances that “raised the temperature to the heights”, the spectacular Eurovision-themed My Style Rocks gala ended. The players were invited to be inspired by performances of the music competition and to present original looks in order to win the coveted… five.
Olga Kotlida chose to represent Ukraine with a look that paid tribute to the victims of the wars. However, her look failed to impress. Hearing the negative comments from Dimitris Skoulos, she could not hide her tears: “Do you know how long I have been in Athens? I am one year old. I have been doing this work as a freelancer for a year by myself. And do you know how I got off? With one suitcase,” she said, sobbing in the judge’s arms, moving both Katerina Karavatou and the rest of the players.
The appearance of Iris Paoutsis, who chose to represent Sweden, was highly revealing. Her song was full of allegories, with herself appearing as a mermaid caught in a net and unable (or unwilling) to escape. As in the case of Olga, Dimitris Skoulos was not thrilled, causing Iris to burst into tears.
However, the eyes fell on Christianna Katsieri. Opting for an ensemble that left little to the imagination, the stunning fashionista took to the My Style Rocks runway representing her mother’s home country of Moldova. Katerina Katavatou could not find words to speak, while Iliana Papageorgiou’s jaws “fell” to the floor.
The winner of the week was Seleni Fotiadis, who collected the highest score and won 2,500 euros.
On the contrary, Christianna Katsieri, Irini Kazaki and Hara Papadopoulou were in the last three. The players saved the first, the judges saved the second, resulting in Hara leaving My Style Rocks.
