Vanessa Giácomo is yet another actress whose fixed contract was not renewed by Globo. She, who was part of the cast of the soap opera “Travessia”, by Gloria Perez, left the company after 19 years and, from now on, the bond with the broadcaster will be made by work.
O F5 sought out the actress, who sent a note about her departure from Globo. “The trend towards non-renewal of long contracts adopted by the channel coincided with the desire to break new ground”, begins the statement released by the press office.
Vanessa, who debuted on Globo starring in the remake of “Cabloca” (2004), recently said that she had been receiving invitations to productions on streamings, but the fixed contract with Globo prevented her from accepting other proposals.
The actress is open to new possibilities and also wants to dedicate herself to the development of her personal projects. Finally, Vanessa Giácomo highlighted: “The partnership with Globo remains, but following a new format”.
In recent months, the broadcaster has also chosen not to renew the contract of artists such as: Marieta Severo, Osmar Prado, Marjorie Estiano, Isis Valverde, Antonio Fagundes, Stenio Garcia, Jayme Matarazzo, Matheus Nachtergaele, Gabriela Duarte, Mateus Solano and Isabelle Drummond.
